Clusterflake 2014

If you are bored with reality TV and the current Sochi Olympic conspiracy dramas, you may have watched the news enough recently to know that metropolitan Atlanta and parts of the Southeastern US have been hit by wintry weather the past 3 days.

While it’s a perfectly valid point that most Atlantans lack the driving skills, 4-wheel drive vehicles or snow chains necessary to safely navigate icy roads and therefore should stay off the streets, there’s still a lot of inherent humor in that the hub of of the New South has been effectively shut down over 1/4 inch of ice.

My favorite of the Ice-pocolyptic images currently floating around Facebook:

(couldn’t find who to credit the photo to, but “Bravo” to you, unknown Photoshopper! And umm, that’s Atlanta’s own Big Chicken floating around in the back, for all you out-of-towners!)

Next up: the Big Thaw 2014

    • Hi Priceless Joy! So nice for you to stop by – I kinda fell off the blogosphere for a while with work. Hope you have been doing great – I always appreciate so much that you take the time to read and comment! Yes, I’m sure it’s similar to you guys – everyone freaks out and it gets blown out of proportion, but hey, it is what it is and a day off from work is a day off from work!
