Well, happy that you are safe and warm, but it sucks about the snow. I did my college internship in DC, but it was a mild winter that year – I think it just sprinkled snow a couple of times when I was there. Here’s to sunshine and “safe” melting (no flooding). Hopefully you have fabulous company and delicious food and drink and enjoy a little downtime!
We definitely bounce between mild and brutal winters here. I like mild. I hate brutal. I don’t know if we’re due any more this winter, but I’m ready to go south or something just in case!
I had more snow than you did. Neener-neener! ha hah!

Do you not get much snow in Atlanta?

Maybe a couple of inches for a day or two every couple of years. Never consistent.

It’s been brutal being forced to dine on French Toast and mimosas in front of the fire due to the extreme weather conditions. 🙂

Meanwhile up here in the DC Metro area, we’re anywhere from 20-30 inches from Snowzilla.

I hope you are warm and safe and have everything you need to make French Toast!

We are warm and safe, but totally snowed in. There’s almost two feet of snow in places.
